Solar Flare was a robot that competed in the first season of Robotica. It was a box-wedge shaped robot with a flame-thrower as its weapon, hence its name. It had 4 wheels that were arranged in two banks of 2 and could run either way up. It beat Pandora's Bot in the preliminary stages but lost to Ram Force in the Fight to the Finish. It would have been unable to compete in most robot combat competitions as it was armed with a projectile weapon, the likes of which were banned from most competitions.
