Season 1.0[]

Panzer Mk 1

Panzer Mk 1

The weaponless Panzer Mk 1 made its debut in the sixth heat of Robotica Season 1.0 against the angled horizontal spinner of Malvolio.

Up first was the Speedway. At the starting buzzer, both robots shot off into the figure-eight. Panzer Mk 1 had some trouble navigating the first turn which enabled Malvolio to complete half a lap and perform a drive by on the dazed and confused Panzer Mk 1. With Panzer taking it slow, Malvolio breezed across the line and completed its first lap of many. Next, Panzer Mk 1 crossed the line and attempted to ram Malvolio, but was juked. Malvolio completed its second lap and was attacked by Panzer Mk 1 before it also completed the second lap. Panzer Mk 1 landed another attack on Malvolio, spinning it out and taking the lead of the race as Malvolio broke down in the corner with 50 seconds to go. Panzer Mk 1 continued to clock lap times and won the race with 6 laps to Malvolio's 3.

Next was the Maze and both bots came prepared. At the start of the run, Panzer Mk 1 exploded out of the gate and effortlessly drove over the ramp with Malvolio getting stuck on its ramp. Panzer Mk 1 kept the momentum going, pushing aside a large heavy box before barging through the paddles. Panzer Mk 1 did have some trouble navigating the bumpy terrain, but breezed through the gate while Malvolio was still stuck on the starting ramp. Panzer Mk 1 psyched itself up and crashed through the waterfall to finish the course miles ahead of Malvolio.

Finally, was the Robotica Gauntlet and both bots were in full combat readiness. At the sound of the buzzer, both bots charged out of the gate and Panzer Mk 1 with its superior drive power effortlessly crashed through all the obstacles in its way to qualify for its heat final.

In the Fight to the Finish, Panzer Mk 1 would face the equally powerful Viper. At the sound of the buzzer, both bots charged and Viper proved to have the lower wedge as Panzer Mk 1 ramped over Viper, nearly flipping itself. Both bots then locked horns in a prolonged shoving match as they pressed their rears against each other with neither bots giving an inch. When the walls dropped, Viper used its advantage to push Panzer Mk 1 off the arena and into the spiked moat, eliminating Panzer Mk 1 from competition while Viper advanced to the finals.

Season 3.0[]

Panzer Mk 3

Panzer Mk 3

After taking a season off, Panzer Mk 3 returned upgraded for Robotica Season 3.0.

Panzer Mk 3 would face Re-Intriverter in its heat and up first was the Gauntlet. At the sound of the buzzer, both bots shot out of their starting gates and smashed through a series of obstructions. As Re-Intriverter rounded the corner, Panzer Mk 3 came crashing in out of nowhere and beached itself. As Re-Intriverter navigated the path of destruction left in the wake of its opponent, Panzer Mk 3 lifted its wedge and freed itself from the debris it was stuck on, Panzer Mk 3 then dropped its wedge and motored through the tidier path left by Re-Intriverter as it got to the ramp. Re-Intriverter was the first onto the ramp and began top clear the central platform of glass pillars. After some fiddling with the wedge, Panzer Mk 3 mounted the platform and proceeded to violently shove Re-Intriverter into one of the gutters. Panzer Mk 3 cleared the rest of the glass pillars and then smashed through the final Robotica branded glass pane to secure its victory.

Next was the confusing Labyrinth and both bots were ready in the turntable. At the sound of the buzzer, Panzer Mk 3 immediately went for the throat, flipping Re-Intriverter onto its side and leaving it stranded as Panzer made its way into the Labyrinth and the Robotica Rats were released. Panzer Mk 3 went about completing the Labrinth's various tasks, gingerly pushing a heavy block to the side so it could snatch the free points. Panzer then barged through two heavy wrecking balls before breaking that glass banner for the points. While Panzer Mk 3 navigated the wrecking balls again on the return trip, the red Robotica Rat attempted to free Re-Intriverter, but failed. Panzer Mk 3 then executed a carefully timed mad dash over the retracting spikes and claimed those points. On the return trip, Panzer Mk 3 bulldozed into the red rat and momentarily got stuck on rocky terrain, but freed itself and dashed over the floor flipper for more points. Since it was right there, Panzer Mk 3 navigated the sandpit and shattered another glass marker for even more points before making a mad dash for the exit, securing its spot in the heat final.

In the Fight to the Finish, Panzer Mk 3 would face the durable scoop of Zeus. At the sound of the buzzer, both bots went for the throat in a shoving match with the advantage going to Panzer Mk 3. Both bots broke off and circled each other before Panzer Mk 3 charged Zeus into the wall and flipped it onto its back. When the walls dropped, it was as simple as tapping Zeus into the spiked moat and Panzer Mk 3 was moving on to the finals.

In the Gauntlet, Panzer faced the ramp of Rambot. At the sound of the buzzer, both robots violently shot out of the gate and crashed through the obstacles. Panzer Mk 3 beached itself on a brick, but was able to free itself through more wedge trickery right in time to pin Rambot into the wall. After stranding Rambot on debris, Panzer Mk 3 charged through the path of destruction left by Rambot and tore out part of the wooden floor. Panzer Mk 3 then raised its wedge, mounted the final platform and got to work clearing it out while Rambot could only watch as panzer Mk 3 broke every single glass pillar and crashed through the final pane to secure the victory.

In the Labyrinth, Panzer Mk 3 faced the crushing jaws of Jawbreaker's Revenge. At the sound of the buzzer, jawbreaker's Revenge immediately ran for the hills as Panzer Mk 3 went for the throat. Panzer Mk 3 ran down Jawbreaker's Revenge and started to press it against the wall before eventually flipping it onto its side, stranding Jawbreaker's Revenge. With its opponent out of the way, Panzer Mk 3 pushed throughj the wrecking balls to claim its first points of the round. When it got out of the wrecking balls again, Jawbreaker's revenge was on its wheels, but unresponsive due to the brutality of Panzer Mk 3's opening assault. While the black Robotica Rat was busy with Jawbreaker's Revenge, Panzer Mk 3 charged over the ramp and pushed the heavy block to the side, snagging more points. Panzer Mk 3 bulldozed past the red Robotica Rat and prepared itself for the floor flipper. With careful timing, Panzer Mk 3 flew past the flipper, collected the points, and escaped the flipper again. Panzer Mk 3 was again harassed by the red Robotica Rat and responded by bulldozing the rat onto the wooden bridge and flipping it onto its back. Panzer Mk 3 then recovered and drove through the sand pit for its points before making a mad dash over the spikes. The spikes were then chained together with the bridge which was effortlessly cleared. With a final bash through the exit gate, Panzer Mk 3 became the first robot in history to get a perfect score on the Labyrinth. With this score, Panzer Mk 3 was onto the finals.

In the final battle, Panzer Mk 3 would face the equally powerful wedge bot, Juggerbot 3.0. At the sound of the buzzer, both bots charged at each other before Panzer Mk 3 started to ram the living daylights out of Juggerbot 3.0. The two bots circled each other for some time before locking horns in a shoving match that ended with Juggerbiot 3.0 on top of Panzer Mk 3. Panzer Mk 3 saw its opportunity and rammed Juggerbot 3.0 at full speed into the arena wall, throwing Juggerbot 3.0 over the wall and out of the arena. This victory cemented Panzer Mk 3 as the Robotica Season 3.0 champion.
